The role of the Employment Facilitator is to support Job Seekers with
disabilities to source and maintain paid employment, and to liaise
with employers, service providers, and Government Departments.
Knowledge of the employers in County Meath would be an advantage, and
an ability to demonstrate an understanding of the barriers experienced
by people with disabilities when looking for employment.
A relevant third level qualification is a distinct advantage in; Adult
Guidance/ Recruitment/ HR/ Sales/Marketing/ Social Studies related
studies.
A driving licence and own transport is required for this position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* You will be required to manage and assist an active case load of
Job Seekers to achieve and maintain paid employment.
* To conduct individual employment needs assessments to identify Job
Seekers interests, capacities, and support needs.
* To establish a positive working relationship with colleagues and
Job Seekers.
* To ensure that each Job Seeker is actively engaged in all phases
of the employment placement process.
* To identify potential employment opportunities, and to provide
support and advice to the employers.
* While adhering to our policies and procedures you will be required
to respond immediately when issues arise concerning Job Seekers
wellbeing and will always maintain high professional standards.
* Communication, computer, and administration skills are an
essential requirement for this position.
