An exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Analyst to work in a leading
ABA Special School in Kill, Co. Kildare. We are a Special School that
caters for children from 5 ? **Apply on the website** years old who
have a diagnosis of Autism and Complex Needs. Our school is located in
the village of Kill just a few minutes from Naas. The successful
candidate will join a dedicated and passionate team who strive to
support the behavioural and educational needs of all our children.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their skills
and knowledge of how to support children with Autism and their
families.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Board Certified Behaviour Analyst or working towards BCBA
certification
* Master?s in Applied Behaviour Analysis and training in the area
of Positive Behaviour Support with disabilities, carrying out
functional assessments, developing positive behaviour support plans in
conjunction with the person/family/staff teams.
* Experience delivering training to teams.
* Experience working collaboratively as part of a school based team
in conjunction with outside agencies
* Demonstrates excellent communication, initiative, and time
management skills
* Demonstrate self-awareness of their strengths and areas of
continuing professional development as part of the individual?s
personal development plan.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Minimum of 5 years? experience working as a behavioural support
therapist/specialist with adults/children
* Experience of Precision teaching
* Has taken part in Crisis Training
* Experience in the development of training
* Experience of working across a wide range of age groups (Early
Intervention ? Adolescents ? Young Adults)
* Experience in the development of policies, procedures and
protocols required to set up and deliver the
