promotes and fosters youth development through the operation of
various youth services in urban and rural areas throughout the
country. For?ige is currently recruiting for the following position:
CLUB DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
PROJECT SUMMARY
The aim of the Club Development Officer is to develop volunteer led
For?ige Clubs and Groups for young people in the area. There is a
vacancy in the midlands/East, during a period of secondment ending on

main goals of the Club Development Officer are:
* Maintain existing number of clubs
* Establish new Clubs in counties
* Improve retention rates for adult volunteers
* Increase numbers of adult volunteers and young people engaged in
For?ige volunteer led clubs
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS;
* Education to Degree standard preferably in Youth / Community Work
or community development (note: candidates with exceptional, relevant
work experience may also be considered in lieu of degree
qualifications)
* Experience of volunteer recruitment, development and retention
methodologies
* A minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
* Access to car and full driving licence
* Ability to engage target group
