JOB TITLE: MONTESSORI LEAD EDUCATOR (FULL TIME)
REPORTS TO: Centre Co-ordinator & Childcare Manager
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Montessori Room Leader will be responsible
for the efficient running of the Childcare Montessori Preschool Room
in Before 5 Family Centre CLG on a day to day basis. He/she will
provide a safe, stimulating and Child Centred Environment to ensure
that all children?s developmental needs are being met. The
Montessori Room Leader will ensure that all members of the team work
effectively and professionally under their guidance and supervision,
and in accordance with the Centre?s Policies and Procedures.
Partnership with Parents/Guardians is an essential part of this role.
THE MONTESSORI LEAD EDUCATOR ROLE IS TO:
* Manage and be responsible for Preschool Class Groups (Morning &
Afternoon)
* Responsible for formulating and implementing a Montessori
programme in line with national guidelines.
* Promote the welfare and foster the development of each individual
Child.
* Lead and Advocate for Inclusive and Democratic Practice.
* Responsible for guiding classroom assistant and AIM staff
assigned.
* Maintain Awareness of Quality ELC Provision and Practice
* Implementation and maintenance of ELC environment
