Amnesty International Ireland: Membership Marketing & Supporter Retention Officer

* Integrating our lead generation and lead conversion programmes,
working collaboratively with Marketing & Donor Development Officer in
Fundraising, as well as colleagues in Communications and Campaigns.
* Oversee telemarketing campaigns relating to membership and regular
giving including conversion, cancellation, reactivation and upgrade
calling. This mainly involves managing existing external agencies.
* Devising Donor Care, Retention and Development plans using all
appropriate communication channels for all new and existing members
and regular givers, seeking input from the Donor Care and Marketing
Assistant and other colleagues.
* Review previous affiliate and corporate membership acquisition and
consider these channels for future planning.
* Assist colleagues from other teams with member-related
registration queries when needed for the Annual Conference.
* Overseeing the Donor Care and Marketing Assistant work as regards
to dealing with membership queries and complaints. *
* Working with Student & Youth team to support student membership
recruitment and development.
* Working with the Campaigns Team to encourage more activists to
become members and members to become activists (e.g. through the
F?ilte series).
* Regular analysis of, and reporting on, all areas of work.
* Researching and testing new fundraising avenues and techniques as
relevant to the area
* Any other duties that may be required by the Head of Fundraising
or Executive Director from time to time in addition to or in lieu of
the above.

_* The Donor Care and Marketing Assistant supports all members of the
Fundraising team and is managed by the Head of Fundraising._

IDEALLY, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

* Experience of overseeing and/or supporting membership/supporter
acquisition initiatives, ideally including digital marketing
* Experience of developing retention and reactivation plans and
materials, utilising varied communication channels and techniques
* Experience of managing external agencies, suppliers and their
performance
* Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
from other teams
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience of using monitoring tools, tracking, analysis and
reporting.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to organise and
prioritise own work and that of people supervised
* Ability to train and supervise the work of temporary staff and
volunteers, monitoring their performance
* Ability to take initiative on own area of work and work as a team
player
* Good general IT and administration skills, including Microsoft
Office package, websites and working with databases
* Willingness to occasionally work outside of office hours.
* Ability to speak and write fluent English
* Keen interest in and support of the aims of Amnesty International
and human rights principles in general.

The salary for this PART-TIME PERMANENT POSITION of **Apply on the
