POSITION AVAILABLE: SUBSTANCE USE PREVENTION AND EDUCATION LEAD
Finglas Cabra Drug and Alcohol Task Force CLG is recruiting a
full-time Substance Use Prevention and Education Lead.
THOSE APPLYING MUST PROVIDE VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE OF THE FOLLOWING IN
THEIR CV:
* Be committed to promoting the integration of equality and
anti-oppressive practices in their work.
* Have at least one year work experience of planning and
implementing substance use education programmes at with youth services
and schools.
* Hold a FETAC level 8 qualification in Community and Youth Work or
Social Care Work.
* Have a clear understanding of the theory of drug, set, and setting
and how it informs the work in relation to substance use.
* Have experience of facilitating groups.
* Have experience of organising substance use awareness raising
activities in collaboration with local young people, service users,
and professional staff from a wide range of local services.
* Experience of using social media platforms to communicate with
young people in relation to substance use issues.
* Have good writing skills.
