POSITION: OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

EMPLOYER: Social Democrats

PLACE OF WORK: Party Head Office in D2, Dublin City Centre.

HOURS OF WORK: Flexible

CONTRACT TYPE AND DURATION: Part-time Specified Purpose Contract.

STARTING DATE: To commence as soon as possible.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and skills, ranging from

equivalent, with **Apply on the website** days Annual Leave _pro
rata_.

PURPOSE OF ROLE: Working in the Party?s Head Office and reporting to
the Party?s General Secretary, the Administrator will play a key
role in the administration of the political party, across various
operations including IT, financial accounting, Party campaigns and
events, and internal and external communications.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Administration of emails, CRM system, Mailchimp and other IT
applications
* Organising and maintaining G-Drive and other data content
* Maintaining and updating website content using WordPress, etc.
* Supporting internal Party communications, including compiling
newsletters, drafting notices, managing surveys, hosting zoom
meetings, etc.
* Processing invoices and payments using accounting software
* Providing Bank Reconciliation and other financial statements and
reports
* Maintaining office equipment and supplies within agreed budgets
* Supporting the work of the General Secretary and other senior
staff
* Assisting with event and campaign co-ordination
* Calendar management

JOB SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum of 4 years? relevant work experience
* Excellent ITC skills
* Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures
and financial records
* Excellent data entry and data manipulation skills
* High proficiency in MS Office, Excel and accounting software
packages
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Committed to maintaining confidentiality and integrity
* Working knowledge of project management software
* Social democratic values
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Skilled at multi-tasking, reliable, and committed to consistently
meeting deadlines.
