Donnycarney Youth Project is a community-based project working with
the youth and families of the area.

FULL TIME YOUTH WORKER

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential qualifications

* An NSETS recognised professionally endorsed qualification in Youth
Work or Youth and Community Work
OR
* Have worked with young people for two years full time in a youth
work setting and have an equivalent professional degree level
qualification within the Education/Social Science/Social Care/Youth &
Community Work

A full clean driver?s licence is required and a D1 Licence desirable

Please ensure you meet the qualification criteria before applying.

This post requires the successful candidate to work scheduled hours at
evenings and weekends to include residential breaks.

We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm and drive, who are
youth focused and will embrace the Better Outcomes Brighter Future
National Outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will be
required to deliver youth work practice in line with the requirements
of the UBU Your Place Your Space funding scheme.

FULL TIME EARLY INTERVENTION / FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER

We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm, drive and initiative
who are focused on providing a wrap around early intervention and
family support services. They will work primarily with vulnerable
children (aged **Apply on the website**) and families with the aim of
breaking the cycle of disadvantage, promoting pro social development
and desistance from crime. The successful candidate will embrace the
Youth Justice Strategy **Apply on the website** and Better Ireland
Brighter Future National Outcomes for young people.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

* A relevant third level qualification (Degree) in either Social
Care, Youth & Community or other relevant Degree
* Have excellent report writing and presentation skills
* Two years? full-time experience in a similar role

A full clean driver?s licence is required and a D1 Licence is
desirable

Salary: Depending on experience

These position requires the successful candidate to work scheduled
hours at evenings and weekends to include residential breaks.
