ill health, drug or alcohol issues or debilitating illness, The
Salvation Army sees the person and not the label. To help us do this,
we have a team of exceptional specialist and support workers. There is
now an opportunity to be a part of this inspiring team at either our
York House (single men), Greencastle Parade (families) and Houben
House (families) services.
As a motivated SUPPORT WORKER you will be responsible for assisting
with delivering a high-quality programme of support which promotes
client choice and control. Key working a number of clients, you will
address their support needs, enable them to make positive life choices
and ultimately empower them to lead more sustainable lifestyles.
Working a Mon-Sun rota, you will also complete day to day activities
including administration tasks and reception duties to support the
service.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Good Computer skills
* Flexibility
* Work shifts, unsociable hours, weekend work

plus evening and Sunday premiums
