CHILDCARE ASSISTANT
LOCATION: BRIGHTSPARKS CHILDCARE CENTRE, Ballingarry, Thurles, South
Tipperary.
ORGANISATION OVERVIEW:
Ballingarry (Thurles) Community Development CLG is an Enterprise
centre with a full day care childcare centre, training facility and
Community Employment scheme.? The organisation operates from two
sites a) An Enterprise Centre in Ballingarry Lower and b)
Brightsparks, a purpose built childcare unit. Brightsparks is a
thriving centre which cares for children from 6 months to school going
age, facilitating up to **Apply on the website** children on a daily
basis.
The project has been in existence since the early **Apply on the
website**?s and is core funded through the ?Community Services
Programme? of the Department of Social Protection.
APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE POSITIONS OF FULL-TIME CHILDCARE
ASSISTANT.
We are looking for a kind, reliable, full-time childcare professional
for our busy creche/preschool in Ballingarry. Minimum qualification of
Level 5 in Childcare is essential but Level 6 and higher would be an
advantage.
The right candidate will be required to complete a garda vetting
process and provide two written references.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum requirement ? Full Level 5 in Childcare.
* Level 6 would be an advantage
* Motivation, energy and an ability to work within a team setting
* Hold a valid First Aid Certificate
* Be Garda Vetted
* Have experience working with children
Full-time position available
Evening and weekend work may be a feature of this employment.
