ABOUT TNC: Established in **Apply on the website**, TNC is a Traveller
led, human rights, community development organisation which promotes,
facilitates and advocates for the rights of North Cork?s Traveller
Community. The project has a strong track record in working with the
Traveller community to develop greater participation, leadership and
ownership of the project by the members of the community. Our project
works across the towns of Mallow, Doneraile, Charleville, Mitchelstown
and Fermoy and surrounding areas in North Cork.

THE RESEARCH: TNC are seeking to recruit a researcher to conduct
initial research into the participation of Travellers in North Cork in
education, training and employment initiatives, identify barriers and
local solutions to increase access and participation. The funding
would include: Research hours, preparation of report, delivering an
information seminar on key findings/recommendations, in conjunction
with the Education working group of TNC.

The researcher would be expected to liaise with the education working
group of TNC to provide progress updates.

RESEARCH BUDGET: Funding for this research has been awarded from the
Ireland Funds. Total budget must not exceed ?**Apply on the

on the website** is for researcher fees, with ?**Apply on the
website** being set aside for volunteer participation expenses,
information seminar and printing of report.

outline methodology and provide an example of previous research.
