KIlbarrack Coast Community Programme: Drug and Alcohol Project Worker (Part-Time)
KIlbarrack Coast Community Programme (KCCP) is a community
drugs/alcohol programme based in Kilbarrack. The programme consists of
the following programmes;

* Core programme, a structured drugs/alcohol rehabilitation programme
* The Reach Out Programme targets young people in the eighteen to
twenty five age groups who experience problems with cannabis, alcohol
and tablets
* ?Youth Matters? a youth programme, eight to eighteen years,
providing a range of stimulating and varied activities presenting a
drug free model of socialization
* Family support service for the families of those affected by
alcohol or drugs
* Free confidential counselling and referral service to all the
community

WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A DRUG AND ALCOHOL PROJECT WORKER
(PART-TIME **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS PER WEEK)

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE:

* Minimum qualification: Level 7 degree qualification in Addiction
Studies or Level 8 in a related field
* A minimum of two years experience of working in the area of drug
and alcohol addiction with a proven track record and knowledge of poly
drug use.
* Relevant training in the area of addiction
* Experience of the care plan/case management system
* A working knowledge of the treatment and rehabilitation process
* Experience of working in a Community/Voluntary Sector
* The capacity to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
*
Well?organised?with?ability?to?initiate?and?follow?through?on?the?delivery?of?initiatives.
* Excellent?communication?skills?(written?and?oral)?excellent
computer skills
