St Michael?s Parish Youth Project, trading as CORE Youth Service, is
a community based youth work organisation working for the welfare,
development & well-being of **Apply on the website** year-old young
people in Inchicore, Dublin 8.
Core Youth Service is seeking 1 Full Time Youth Worker to work as part
of the Youth Work team in a busy, demanding and dynamic youth work
environment and to engage with young people from a variety of
backgrounds in innovative and needs based programmes. These posts are
full time (**Apply on the website**hrs) and consist of day, evening
and weekend work.
This position requires a staff member that can engage young people,
especially vulnerable and at risk young people, in one to one work,
group work, mentoring, non-formal education programmes, advocacy, club
based work and goal focused work. Other duties will include reporting
on the work of the various programmes, interagency work, best practice
& policy development.
ALL APPLICANTS MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS;
An * NSETS?recognised professionally endorsed qualification in Youth
Work or Youth and Community Work
OR
Have worked with young people for two years full time, in a paid
capacity, in a youth work setting and have an equivalent professional
qualification within the social studies/social care / youth
work/education or community development field.
