FAMILY WORKER

DOMESTIC ABUSE, GENDER AND SEXUAL Violence Centre
(Full Time; Fixed Term contract)

The DoCCFS are seeking applications to the post of FAMILY WORKER for
placement in our centre working with Domestic abuse, Gender and Sexual
Violence including Coercive Control. The focus of the role will be to
work systemically with families experiencing these forms of violence,
with a specific focus on working with perpetrators.

_The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not
for profit public service organisation. We provide a range of
therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the
greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA
Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City,
East and Dublin Mid Leinster. Our Services include an Early Childhood
Development Service (ECDS), Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer
Families Service and Assessment Services. _

Candidates must be educated to degree level in Social Care,
Psychotherapy, Systemic Psychotherapy, Psychology, or Social Work.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years? experience in a similar
role.

Additional qualifications and/or experience working systemically in
domestic abuse, gender and sexual violence will be an advantage.
Experience working with perpetrators will be a distinct advantage. A
full knowledge of the relevant legislation underpinning work in this
area is essential.
