THE ORGANISATION

CIDP is seeking a CEO to lead a significant programme of change and
delivery. We are an organisation that primarily provides residential
services to Deaf and Deafblind Adults and Children through two main
services.

Our vision is to make positive changes in the lives of our service
users. We are currently implementing the _Time To Move On_ policy
which sees adult service users transition from an institutional
setting into independent/supported living in the community. We are
also making changes in our model of care in our children?s services.
We will be publishing a new 5 year strategy and undergoing a change in
brand and identity later this year.

Over the past five years the current CEO has led CIDP through
significant changes in the areas of governance and finance, and has
lead and supported a programme of organisational reform and
modernisation. The successful candidate will continue to lead the
organisation, develop brand recognition, and provide stability,
momentum and ambition to CIDP, all of which are essential as we
continue to move forward as an organisation.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be a strategic leader and an experienced
manager with a strong knowledge of the voluntary sector. In particular
they should demonstrate a strong knowledge of governance and have
experience in the areas of service delivery, finance and resource
management relevant to our organisation. It is desirable that they
have knowledge of Residential / Community adult/children services.
They should have excellent communication skills and preferably be
fluent in Irish Sign Language (ISL) or demonstrate a willingness to
learn. The person should be good at building and maintaining positive
relationships and capable of delivering change. The successful
candidate will be a highly energetic individual, with the ambition to
deliver on a demanding strategic plan.
