TRAINER-FACILITATOR FOR ONLINE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTAL YOUTH PROGRAMME

CTL Ireland offers customised educational and immersion programmes in
Ireland for groups and individuals.

CTL Ireland wishes to recruit a TRAINER-FACILITATOR TO CO-DESIGN AND
FACILITATE AN ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAMME for young people aged **Apply
on the website**. Participants will be located in different parts of
the world and access the sessions on a virtual platform. The programme
aims at empowering young people to take action against climate change.
The training will be providing young people with skills and
inspiration to carry out their own action project. Young activists
from Ireland and the UK will be sharing their experience to inspire
them during remote live sessions. Some of the young activists will be
also providing support to young participants as mentors.

The programme is in its development phase. The first course is planned
to run in September/October **Apply on the website**. Each course will
involve facilitating around **Apply on the website**h of live
sessions, divided into 5 to 7 sessions. Sessions will be held on a
weekly or daily basis depending on partners? demand.

THE KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Co-designing training workshops and associated materials
* Preparing and delivering training workshops
* Providing support to mentors
* Evaluating and reporting on training delivered

The ideal applicant will be people oriented, highly organised and will
take ownership and pride in their work.

CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE/SKILLS WILL BE PRIORITISED

* Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
* Experience in designing and delivering engaging skill based
workshops with young people aged **Apply on the website** year old
* Experience in environmental education and activism
* Experience in delivering online training
* Experience collaborating and working in partnerships, balancing
the needs of different stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills, appropriate to international
audience and circumstances (remote online learning)
* Excellent facilitation skills
* Strong IT skills
* Ability to understand and implement organisational policies
* Creative and flexible approach to problem solving

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE

* Knowledge of intercultural exchange programmes
* Knowledge of global citizenship education

GENERAL INFORMATION

START DATE: As soon as possible

LOCATION: This is primarily a work from home position with possible
meetings at the CTL office in Cork when in person meetings can safely
resume

DURATION:
Co-design: over a period of 3 weeks
Facilitation-training: depending on demand

SALARY:
