SADAKA - THE IRELAND PALESTINE ALLIANCE ? seeks to build support for
the cause of Palestine throughout Irish society in order to influence
the Irish Government and European policy in support of the national,
democratic and human rights of the Palestinian people.
We now wish to appoint a COORDINATOR (PART-TIME ). Working a **Apply
on the website**.5 hour week, from home, the Coordinator will:
* Lead in the identification, preparation and organisation of
meetings with politicians of all political parties;
* Build alliances with other Palestine advocacy groups in Ireland
and internationally;
* Strengthen communications between Sadaka and its supporters;
* Increase Sadaka's social media and on-line presence;
* Identify and pursue potential funders from among trusts and
foundations;
* Support the Board in overseeing the implementation of the
strategic plan;
* Be aware of political and other developments, domestically and
internationally, which are relevant to Palestine/Israel.
Candidates should have significant experience in policy advocacy
related to international affairs and human rights. A knowledge of the
current Palestinian/Israeli situation will be a distinct advantage.
Experience in institutional fund raising, communications and
networking is desirable. Being a self starter and highly organised in
their work is essential.
