Junior Paraplanner/trainee-Financial Planning Team
Position: Junior Paraplanner (trainee-Financial Planning Team)

This position, reporting to Director ? Financial Planning, will
provide assistance to the team?s financial advisers. The person will
support the financial advisers by providing market research & Advice
Report production, client review preparation, answering technical
queries and dealing directly with clients on certain queries. Also,
assisting the Team Lead in further development of the role itself and
the Advisory Process.

THE ROLE
* Have an input into pre-sales process and understanding client
objectives and occasionally attend client meetings,
* Voyant / Cashflow analysis and Financial Planning (e.g. max
funding, CET etc.)
* In conjunction with the Financial Advisors, put in place a clear
plan of activity in terms of lead generation to actively review
clients
* Assist in executing some business (e.g. protection business,
annuities & Approved Minimum Retirement funds) through a desk-based
service .
* Ensure Sales team are fully briefed on all market and product
changes on a timely basis.
* Organise the ongoing training and product presentations to assist
in the Continued Professional Development (CPD) requirements for the
team.
* Ensure all relevant procedures are followed to comply with Central
Bank regulations & WTW requirements. This will include preparing all
new business files for processing by the New Business team
* Assist in compiling and analysing sales related reports as
required.

THE REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 3 years+ experience in a life & pensions related role.
* QFA and RPA qualifications required.
* Analytical, with a strong knowledge of products, business
practices, markets and competitors is expected
* Strong Team player and ability to work under pressure on
simultaneous tasks
