LOCATION: Based in Dublin

We are looking for an experienced fundraising professional to join our
team.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

* To assist the Corporate Partnerships Team in delivery of the Irish
Cancer Society?s Corporate Partnerships strategy.
* To co-ordinate the Society?s corporate correspondence, filing
and database.
* To respond to, resolve and record all corporate enquiries (in all
formats) in a timely manner and to agreed standards.
* To process, track and ensure accurate recording and processing of
all new donor information.
* Management of selected corporate partners for the Irish Cancer
Society to maximise the potential for revenue and partnership
opportunity.
* Coordination of high profile Employee Fundraising campaigns.
* Develop fundraising programmes for our corporate partners.
* Steward and motivate corporate partners through site visits and
events.
* Provide back up, research and administrative support as required.

MAIN DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will take on a number of very
specific tasks as well as being involved in corporate campaigns,
events and new projects. The main aspects of the role would be:

* Manage Our Daffodil Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Month employee
fundraising programmes.
* Work with our corporate partners to steward and grow fundraising.
* Attend fundraising events and cheque presentations of our
corporate partners.
* Attend networking events to continue to develop relationships with
existing and new corporate supporters.
* Execute stewardship events for corporate partners, including
volunteering initiatives.
* Support the wider Fundraising and Communications Teams with the
delivery of various campaigns and events.
* Write and edit correspondence, reports and proposals to support
the Corporate Partnerships team.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of corporate supporters
in Dynamics database.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained.
* Liaising with Finance and Fundraising teams in receipting
corporate partners.
* Administration of the corporate matching gift and grants
programmes
* Ensure that all donors and prospects receive the highest standard
of care and stewardship through effective and timely communication, in
person, virtual, by phone, email and mail.

GENERAL:

* Cash handling, banking, acknowledging and receipting income in
accordance with Society policies and procedures.
* Keep up-to-date with the current issues and developments in the
corporate sector and fundraising arena.
* Undertake training as required.
* Understand and ensure Society adherence and compliance with
charitable legislation.
* Gain a clear understanding of the corporate partnership policy and
understand its role in the decision making process of corporate
partner engagement.
* Maintain confidentiality regarding supporter information at all
times, and to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act.
* Provide occasional support in the event that another team in the
department has an urgent need.
* Assist with special projects as required, or self determined to
enhance the Society fundraising capacity and/or programmatic and
advocacy objectives.
* Work closely with all fundraising teams and other relevant
departments as required.
* The Society operates a no-smoking policy and the post holder must
not smoke in the office or when on Society business outside the
office.
* All employees are required to be aware of their responsibilities
towards health and safety and to adhere to fire regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Third level qualification and/or relevant experience gained in the
corporate, not for profit sector or customer service environment.
* 2 years? relevant working experience in administrative or
co-ordinator role.
* Highly computer literate, excellent knowledge of Office **Apply on
the website** ? particularly Word, Powerpoint and Excel packages.
* Experience of using sales or fundraising database and willingness
and competence to pick up this skill quickly.
* Proficient in digital marketing and adobe illustrator.
* Strong preference for experience with working with Corporates.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high
levels of confidence speaking to new people over the phone and ?face
to face. Confident public speaker.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability
to manage multiple project demands.
* Self-motivated and ability to work independently, think
creatively, and identify opportunities.
* Ideally experience in income generation and/or account management
in either the commercial or not for profit sectors.
* Pleasant and helpful with a flexible approach to work in a fast
paced, dynamic environment.
* Ability to set and work to achieve targets, budgets and plans.
* Diplomatic and tactful with the ability to build and maintain
relationships with a diverse range of people.
* Full clean driving licence.
