* Contributes to the learner?s growth, learning, and progression.
* Invests in the learners? well-being, health, and safety,
physically, socially, and emotionally.
* Demonstrates academic competence in subject area(s).
* Serves as a role-model for the learners?.
* Designs and facilitates differentiated lesson plans and specific
teaching material, along with relevant assessments linked with the
learning outcomes.
* Provide learners with continuous feedback and mark and correct all
assessments and worksheets.
* Comply with all quality assurance regulations for the QQI award.
* Other responsibilities may be requested by the Coordinator.
TUTOR QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
* Emotional maturity and stability
* Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable, and
cooperative with a sense of humour
* Ability to take supervision and correction constructively
* Ability to positively supervise learners.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor?s degree in Education or subject-matter field preferred
* Train the trainer or teaching qualification desirable.
* Recent teaching experience/ESOL is desirable.
The tutoring hours are based on part time, temporary contract.
