We are recruiting for two new and exciting positions with the
opportunity to grow and further your experience of working with
individuals with autism, intellectual disability and various support
needs. We require two motivated, enthusiastic, creative and energetic
individuals to assist us in supporting two young men to transition
from school to a self-directed adult life within their community.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

* A FETAC/ QQI Level 5 (Major Award) in Healthcare or equivalent
(e.g. Health Service Skills, Healthcare Support) is required however,
if you think you have the other suitable qualities & qualifications
and are committed to undertaking a certified course whilst beginning
your employment we would encourage you to apply;
* We are looking for people who can support these young men to live
a life of their choosing and reach their full potential;
* The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in making a
difference to how young people with disabilities are viewed and
supported within their community;
* The ideal candidates will have an interest in psychology/
behaviour therapy and will receive supervision and ongoing
professional development in the role;
* Full current drivers licence;

DESIRABLE QUALITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:

* An interest in promoting positive well-being and a healthy
life-style;
* A commitment to promoting practical independent living skills;
* A good knowledge of computers/IT skills and interested in finding
new ways to develop this interest in meaningful and positive ways;

* Ability to motivate and encourage individuals to try new
experiences.
* Good networking skills and links within their own community.
