ST CHRISTOPHERS SERVICES CLG

St. Christopher's Service provides services to people with
intellectual disabilities. We are a high quality, community-based
service. We enable our Service Users to reach their fullest potential.
We are looking for staff who are committed to supporting people with
disabilities and their families, in a person centred, community based,
socially inclusive manner in accordance with our mission and national
standards, underpinned by quality and best practice and research.

RESIDENTIAL VACANCIES

We have a number of opportunities within our Residential & Respite
Service. These roles are Relief (Bank), Specified Purpose and
Permanent contracts of employment. The successful candidates will
maintain the highest maintainable standards of person-centred care and
support, to promote optimum independence and to enhance the quality of
life for the Service User in all aspects of daily living. S/he will
assist and co-operate in the smooth running of their assigned area.

QUALIFICATION

_STAFF NURSE_

* Be on the current register as maintained by An Bord Altranais /
NMBI and preferably possess the RNID qualification.

_SUPPORT WORKER_

* A recognised and relevant qualification (FETAC level 5)

_SOCIAL CARE WORKER_

* QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies (Disability)
- Open Training College
OR
* Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies delivered by an Institute of
Technology, DIT or National University of Ireland
OR
* A qualification received outside the State recognised by NARIC as
equivalent to the Irish Level 7 award.
