animal nutrition industry and a quality supplier of high-performance
feed products. They are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to be
located at their feed mill in the South of Ireland.
The Role
In this challenging "hybrid" role two separate but interrelated
specializations have been brought together to create a very
interesting opportunity: namely design engineering and lean
manufacturing. The position is stand-alone reporting into the
Operations Manager and working closely with all relevant staff and
management to successfully achieve targeted outcomes. It is &#**Apply

internally to implement technical change and innovation.
Due to the specialist nature if this industry and its inherent nuances
the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in milling or
related areas. The role will involve the continuous assessment of
manufacturing systems and work to develop and implement viable
engineering improvements to drive efficiencies within the
manufacturing processes. It is a stand-alone role but it will link
closely with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance, Production and
Operations departments.
Requirements
The expectation is that the successful candidate will most likely have
a degree in engineering but regardless of actual qualifications an
impressive and relevant track record of engineering design and lean
manufacturing achievement in a relevant environment is paramount. A
minimum of five years&#**Apply on the website**; work experience is
most likely required to be able to deliver to role expectations. A
strong ability to communicate, influence and build internal
relationships is also critical
Remuneration is attractive while commensurate with experience. It
