Foster Care Ireland: Principal Social Worker
PRINCIPAL SOCIAL WORKER

Following its move to new premises in Santry, Foster Care Ireland is
seeking to appoint a Principal Social Worker to lead its next stage of
growth to become the model non-statutory fostering service provider of
Dublin North.

This is an opportunity for a committed professional to draw on their
experience and lead by example in the development of an organisation
that is committed to achieving the best outcomes for children. The
position will appeal to applicants who wish to shape and grow an
effective therapeutic fostering service that places the interest of
children first and always.

The Principal Social Worker is an _ex officio_ member of the Board of
Management and is responsible to the CEO for the implementation of the
policies of Foster Care Ireland.

The salary and benefit package will be competitive and commensurate
with experience.

Applicants should have qualifications in social work, be CORU
registered and at least 5 years experience in leading services in the
areas of children and families, and fostering in particular.
Flexibility to home working with internet access will be a feature for
