DUBLIN NORTHWEST PARTNERSHIP IS RECRUITING
The Dublin North West Partnership wishes to recruit an Employment
Centres Manager. The successful candidate will have a depth and
breadth of practical experience of employment and education issues
affecting individuals and communities. A third level qualification in
guidance and/or organisational psychology and experience in a similar
type role are minimum requirements We are looking for someone who is
skilled in the delivery of career guidance and employment supports to
individuals and groups, in particular those who are most distanced
from the Labour Market.
The contract is full time.
_KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE_
The Employment Centres Manager should be able to demonstrate
experience and expertise in the following areas:
* A record of planning, achievement and implementation.
* Managing teams of people in multiple contexts.
* Managing data management systems.
* High level of computer literacy
* A compelling champion and advocate who can inspire colleagues.
* Fair, impartial and open to new ideas and information.
* A role model for lifelong learning and continuous professional
development
* In possession of excellent written (both academic and
report/proposal writing), oral communication, facilitation and
presentation skills.
* Flexible, creative with the ability to adapt to a changing and
challenging environment.
* Able to work in a self-directed manner, and to develop good
working relationships with all stakeholders.
* Appreciative of the main social, economic and environmental issues
currently affecting the sector.
* Good understanding of the challenges facing marginalised groups in
accessing employment opportunities
Salary scale is DNP Officer Level 3 Scale at a point that is
commensurate with qualifications and experience
