AREA DIRECTOR BASED IN OFFALY/TIPPERARY (REF ADOF)
AREA DIRECTOR BASED IN SOUTH KILDARE (REF ADSK)

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING
SKILLS FOR THE ROLE OF THE AREA DIRECTOR

Have capacity to perform the role, whilst ensuring that the Muiriosa
Foundation?s values and mission are guiding principles for
implementing all operational aspects of service delivery through the
line management and transdisciplinary support structure

These positions require the person to possess excellent managerial,
leadership, problem solving skills and ability to strongly advocate
for the people we support both regionally and organizationally.
Relevant management experience preferably at a senior level is
desirable

The Area Directors will become ?Single point of accountability?
for all activity within their area of responsibility

Display determination and resilience in their approach to working with
individuals with an intellectual disability to achieve a good life.
Have a good Knowledge of Individualised services

Planning and development of community based localized services within
allocated budgets

Must have a strong knowledge of National Disability Policy, HIQA
standards and New Directions

Have Relevant Qualification for the role e.g. nursing, social care,
psychology

Have Excellent communication skills

Have a Full current driving license
