COUNSELLOR / PSYCHOTHERAPIST VACANCY
The Donegal Sexual Abuse & Rape Crisis Centre (DSA&RCC) is a
registered charity offering counselling and support?to all genders
and gender identities and young people aged **Apply on the website**
and over who have experienced, rape,?sexual assault, past childhood
sexual abuse or any kind of sexual trauma in their lives. We also
offer support counselling to a partner, family member or friend who is
supporting the person who has been abused. We provide support
throughout County Donegal.
We are currently seeking a qualified accredited psychotherapist to
provide individual psychotherapy services specifically to support
victims of past childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, rape or any
kind of sexual trauma in their lives.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* The successful candidate will hold a professional accredited
counselling/psychotherapy qualification
* Accredited by the Irish Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy (IACP) or Irish Association for Humanistic Integrative
psychotherapy (IAHIP), British Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy (BACP) or other relevant?body.
* A relevant 3rd level qualification
* Min 2 years post qualification experience
* Experience of working with survivors of sexual violence
* Commitment to and active participation in professional development
* Commitment to working as part of a team
* A flexible approach?and an ability to handle a varied workload
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well under own
initiative
* Full clean Driving Licence
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Experience of working with young adults and teens
All Candidates must have sufficient public liability and professional
indemnity insurance in place.
Successful candidate will be subject to Garda Vetting and reference
checks
