SERVICE BACKGROUND
Dochas Family Centre is a registered charity located in North
Clondalkin. The service works from a whole child whole system
framework to support children and parents/ carers. Dochas specifically

families, who may have social emotional and behavioural needs in order
to strengthen the family unit?.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST
* Hold a minimum Level 8 degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Social
Care, Youth & Community Work).
* Have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
* Have experience of working with children presenting with social
emotional difficulties.
* Have experience of working with children and parents to provide
support matched to presenting needs which support the child and family
system.
* Be able to show experience and understanding of child development,
factors and systems which support positive outcomes for children and
families.
* Have experience of gathering relevant information from various
sources and in collaboration with families and children, implement a
support plan matched to their needs.
* Have experience of facilitating children?s groups.
* Have experience of interagency collaborative working.
* Have a full driver?s licence as driving is a requirement of the
role.
Garda vetting is a requirement of the role.
