YOUTHPACT is a regional initiative providing support to organisations
funded by the Peace IV Children and Young Peoples programme. It is led
by Co-operation Ireland in partnership with Ulster University, Pobal
and the National Youth Council of Ireland,
Co-operation Ireland wishes to appoint a CAPACITY BUILDING DEVELOPMENT
OFFICER for the Youthpact programme, a role that provides significant
opportunity for the further development of skills and knowledge.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING TASKS:
* work constructively with delivery agents to identify their training
and learning needs;
* develop and deliver bespoke training activities and events for
staff who are new to the youth work profession;
* design and deliver entry-level activities, either accredited or
non-accredited.
This role requires the post-holder to work across Northern Ireland and
the Border Counties and the final location of the role will be agreed
with the successful candidate.
