We have a vacancy in our Procurement Team in Dublin for a Procurement
Associate to join us on a Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover,
duration will be discussed during interview).

This role is multi-disciplinary, and the successful candidate will
support the day-to-day operations of the Procurement Team, focusing on
vendor management and purchase orders.

Key Tasks

* Manages vendors to ensure that procurement procedures are met

* Resolve all distribution centre/goods inwards queries with regard to
delivery/stock/PO&#**Apply on the website**;s as appropriate

* Generates purchase orders, runs PO reports and performing goods
receipts using the SAP system

* Raises and executes purchase orders to process purchase item

* Purchase order administration - updates with confirmation dates and
resends to supplier as required

* Ensures all vendor information is maintained and kept up to date
including and not limited to supplier contact details, purchasing
price information etc.

* Expedites open purchase orders

* Oversees and manages all stock transactions

* Advises on stock availability

* Reviews open purchasing requisition before execution of purchasing
orders to suppliers

* Deals with Intercompany plants (USA, Germany, UK, Belgium & France)
and runs intercompany blocked batch report

* Running and checking back orders

* Liaising with the sales and customer service team to ensure all
information regarding open purchase orders are communicated

* Manage returns to suppliers including planning delivery timetable
and raising RE pos

* Organize scrapping of goods in accordance with relevant company SOP

* Evaluates received quotations

* Monitors incoming shipment

* Negotiates with suppliers for cost reduction

* Maintain inventory control for all purchased materials

* Plans and schedules suppliers&#**Apply on the website**; delivery
according to sales and inventory level

* Responsible for procuring materials at best possible price with
emphasis on product quality standard

* Monitors and coordinates import and export shipment

* Liaise with freight forwarders for shipment arrangements

* Processes orders from customers and advice on expected delivery date

* Maintains and renews the necessary licenses for import and export

* Proven excellent customer service focus and experience in a similar
role

* Good problem-solving capability and confidence to react promptly to
deliver the best service possible

* Good planning, organisational and analytical skills

* Good time-management skills, ability to be flexible and handle
multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis

* Self-motivated, energetic, dependable and with a clear attention to
