EXPERIENCED BOOKKEEPER & FUNDING ADMINISTRATOR



MISSION STATEMENT

To provide support to those who engage with people/groups at risk.

THE CANDIDATE

Will provide ongoing support to National Director & Board of Directors
in a fast paced environment in organising, planning & implementing
Breaking Through?s work plan.

THE ROLE WILL SUIT AN EXPERIENCED CANDIDATE WITH A MINIMUM OF THREE
YEARS STRONG BOOKKEEPING / ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, STRONG
ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS AND VERY GOOD ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

Expert knowledge of SAGE including payroll, budgeting and accounts is
required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication,
organisational and IT skills. Charity & Voluntary sector experience is
desirable but not essential. Social Care background also desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS:

* Administration of all financial records,
* Keeping accurate accounts, using the appropriate system in the
Organisation,
* Dealing with staff payroll, PRSI, PAYE, Revenue using computerised
payroll system and Revenue reporting,
* Managing all banking systems,
* Preparing monthly and annual accounts and producing financial
reports,
* Preparing projected budgets, to assist with future planning,
* Liaising with the auditor/accountant,
* Maintaining the petty cash system,
* Issuing of invoices & payments,
* Sourcing new funds for the Organisation,
* Cost accounting, (-working closely with other agencies ensuring
funding cycles are administered and completed),
* Administration and processing of various funding streams,
* Completing any other tasks as assigned by the National Director
from time to time.

LOCATION, WORKING HOURS & SALARY:

possibility to be extended if funding for the post is secured.
Flexible working hours based in Leixlip, Co.Kildare.
