schemes, TII Phase 1 to 4 delivery of national roads, urban

Responsibilities:
* Leading the highways design team, ensuring projects are delivered to
the required timescales, quality and costs
* Supervising and mentoring senior and junior staff within the
highways section
* Preparing technical reports and tender documents including bills of
quantities and specifications
* Planning and managing CAD documentation of design work, working
closely with Engineering Technicians
* Completing engineering designs to the relevant standards
* Ensuring compliance with our quality assurance and management
systems and relevant health and safety legislation
* Coordinating his/her work with other members of the project team
Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Chartered Engineer status

experience in the design of highway schemes in Ireland
* Good working knowledge of highway design software such as MX and
AutoCAD Civil 3D
* Candidate should be a high-energy professional with excellent
communication, organisation and analytical skills
* Experience of engaging with external stakeholders, clients,
sub-contractors
* Flexible and a good team player
* Works efficiently and on own initiative
* Must be prepared to travel to site visits and client meetings
* Full Drivers Licence
