HR Business Partner - Sandyford Dublin 18




Job purpose:
This is a key role within the HR function, reporting directly to the Head of HR. The HR Business Partner will assist the Head of HR with establishing and implementing HR best practices and will be accountable for handling training, day to day employee issues (grievance & disciplinary) and supporting the Head of HR with major projects that come on-line over the course of the contract.




Main Responsibilities will include:
Create, develop and deliver training courses
Effectively handle employee relations issues in line with Greenstar policies & procedures
Analyse, administer and advise on compensation & benefits
Provide HR advice & support to the Management team
Handle the recruitment of senior level vacancies
Assist with the appraisal and review process
Assist in the development of policies and procedures
Facilitate continuous development and improvement
Other duties as required, in line with meeting company objectives




Skills and Experience required:
· 8+ years generalist HR experience, specialist experience in training, employee relations or reward is a plus
· CIPD qualified/Third level degree in HR/related discipline
· Strong experience of dealing with employee relations issues. Experience with unions and industrial disputes is a plus
· Strong knowledge of compensation & benefits, in particular experience of harmonising terms and conditions
· Experience of transfer of undertakings regulations is a considerable advantage
· Senior level recruitment experience
· Project management experience
· Ability to influence effectively and the ability to get things done through others outside his/her direct control is essential
· Seeks out & identifies ? best practices?
· Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation is essential
Excellent administrative skills
High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
Professional with strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent communication skills, both written (attention to detail) and verbal
Ability to work in a busy environment and react quickly to changes within the business
Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and flexible
Ability to travel frequently
Full, clean drivers licence
Excellent computer skills, to include MS Office Suite & HR Databases
