BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (MATERNITY LEAVE)
The Childhood Development Initiative (CDI) is currently recruiting a
Business Development Manager in a Maternity Leave role to develop,
support and diversify CDI income sources, and to manage and develop
CDI?s portfolio of service offerings.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
* Drive and oversee the delivery of a strategic business plan;
* Monitor funding opportunities and coordinate development and
submission of funding bids;
* Oversee the design and development of promotional materials;
* Work with the Office and Finance Manager to negotiate and finalise
contracts; manage and minimise risk and ensure compliance with
regulations and best practice;
* Support the Office and Finance Manager in developing associated
budgets, by informing and supporting relevant tender processes and
ensuring efficiency and value-for-money criteria are met;
* Work with CDI staff to ensure that contractual requirements are
delivered and relationships managed to a high standard;
* Manage all contracts, contractors and relevant partners in line
with project needs;
* Develop and oversee project management systems and processes to
support the implementation of all projects;
* Collect data and monitor project targets;
* Provide reports to the CEO and Board as required;
* Coordinate and actively engage with CDIs Business Development
Committee;
* Be an active member of the Management Team, contributing to
organisational activities and planning;
* Represent CDI and build on and develop relationships with key
stakeholders and agencies;
* Any other duties as required.
