JOB LOCATION: Hybrid working with a minimum of two days office based
at The Community Foundation for Ireland, 3rd Floor, Phibsborough
Tower, Phibsborough Road, Dublin 7. Attendance at internal and
external events will also be required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A passionate, energetic and dynamic self-starter who is comfortable
supporting key operations at the centre of Ireland?s Philanthropic
Hub. Attention to detail is a must while working in a fast-paced
deadline driven environment. Enjoys writing and can demonstrate an
ability to prepare and present proposals and reports. The successful
candidate is comfortable with and knows their way around databases,
communications platforms and systems. Experience in CRM, Salesforce
and digital communications is a bonus.

You will be part of a small but committed Development and
Communications Team. You share our vision of growing philanthropy to
underpin our mission of Equality for All in Thriving Communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working directly with two members of the Senior Leadership Team you
will implement relevant campaigns to deliver our strategy to promote
and grow The Community Foundation for Ireland?s funds with a
particular focus on empowering generations, building inclusive
communities, accelerating social change and ensuring sustainable
futures. You will also provide efficient and professional
administrative support in implementing the Development and
Communications Strategy of The Community Foundation for Ireland and in
relation to flagship events.

Whether office based, working from home or out in the field, you have
an ability to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Performing under pressure should come as second nature.

You will manage online filing, efficiently respond to messages and
ensure all systems are current and up to date ? including regularly
updating and maintaining the CRM database.

You will maintain excellent and up-to-date records of communications
with donors and key stakeholders.

A people-person you are comfortable in communicating efficiently and
effectively with colleagues, our donors and other leaders across the
community sector.

You will be encouraged to contribute to the formulation of future
practices and policy within both the Marketing and Development units
? where new views and ideas are encouraged and always welcome.

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU ARE:

* A friendly, warm, empathetic person with an interest in the charity
sector who enjoys working in a team but can also work independently.
* A great communicator who has an excellent written and verbal
communication skills.
* An organised administrator who is good at managing more than one
task at the same time and has very strong attention to detail and
ability to meet deadlines and targets.
* A self-starter with the ability to learn detailed processes and
implement. To problem solve and create efficiencies when possible.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

_EDUCATION_

* A qualification in a related discipline is desirable but not
essential.

_SKILLS_

* Have a clear understanding of the important work CFI is doing
* Experience working with MS office (work, excel, etc.)
* Experience with a CRM data base would be an advantage
* Excellent organisational skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent writing and editing skills
* Ability to prioritise, plan and organise own workload and to work
to multiple deadlines
* Ability to handle enquiries and complaints appropriately and
sensitively
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Commitment and flexibility

_EXPERIENCE (DESIRED, NOT ESSENTIAL)_

* Ideally have experience in some customer interfacing role
