YOUTH WORKER FOR LIBERATE PROGRAMME

JOB TITLE: Youth Worker ? Liberate Team

BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE

Solas Projects Liberate Programme was developed in **Apply on the
website**, a relatively new youth service for **Apply on the website**
year olds in the South West Inner City. This new service is funded by
the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and
Youth through the UBU- Your Place, Your Space targeted youth funding
scheme. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to set up
this new service while also participating in the wider Solas Project
team and supporting some of Solas Project?s existing supports for
this age group. This role will involve a lot of outreach, innovation
and collaboration. The remit of the team is to support young people
through a wide range of interventions particularly focusing on the
following key needs:

* Disadvantage
* Educational Attainment
* Social isolation, Safety and Mental Well-being
* Inclusivity
* Substance Misuse
* Criminality
