ABOUT THE MODEL, SLIGO

The Model is an international-facing museum that works with some of
the world?s most exciting artists on exciting and vibrant cultural
projects. A world-class visitor centre, The Model is home to one of
the most notable public art collections in Ireland. The Niland
Collection also features a broad range of traditional and contemporary
works. The Model?s acclaimed contemporary art programme features
several major exhibitions of noted national and international
contemporary artists each year. The Model is a site of artistic
production, with new commissions, purpose-built studios and an
artists? residency programme.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Model is now seeking an ambitious and innovative Development
Manager who will have specific responsibility for raising financial
support for the organisation, from patrons, corporate groups, Trusts
and Foundations, public funding agencies and international funding
routes. The person will work closely with the Directors and the core
Programme Team, collaboratively devising and implementing an
innovative fundraising strategy, to support The Model?s
interdisciplinary creative programme and to realise targets for
sustainable funding.

Reporting to the Director, this role will be part of the management
team. The person will work closely with the wider team to ensure that
communication with patrons and supporters is regular and engaging,
stewardship is managed, and The Model continues to engage with
partners and patrons on all levels and across a variety of platforms
including patron and cultivation events.
This role is part funded by the Arts Council through the RAISE
Programme, an initiative aimed to promote private investment and drive
philanthropic activity for arts and cultural organisations in receipt
of statutory funding from the Government.?Find more information about
