TENANCY SUPPORT WORKER, BAILE AN AOIRE, MONTENOTTE, CORK

Applications are sought for the position of Tenancy Support Worker,
Baile An Aoire, Cork.

Baile an Aoire, through the provision of supported housing, aim to
enhance the quality of life of vulnerable women and their families.
Our service offers quality accommodation to single adult women in a
safe and nurturing community.

This position will involve working **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HRS PER
WEEK. Flexibility will be required around working hours and some
evening and weekend work may be required.

THE POST WILL INITIALLY BE OFFERED ON A ONE-YEAR CONTRACT (RENEWABLE
SUBJECT TO FUNDING).

REPORTING TO THE MANAGER OF BAILE AN AOIRE, THE CANDIDATE WILL:

* Work within the ethos and values of Good Shepherd Cork.
* Promote and create a welcoming and caring environment within Baile
An Aoire.
* Proactively engage with tenants in terms of meeting their needs
and creating an environment built on trust, respect, co-operation and
choice.
* Develop and implement agreed care plans for and with each tenant,
in consultation with the team, the tenants and any professionals
involved with the tenant.
* Complete daily care tasks with the tenants including household
support, activities and other social care needs as required by
tenants.
* Liaise with service manager and other professionals, as
appropriate.
* Maintain all required records in a safe, secure and confidential
manner, adhering to GDPR requirements.
* Attend and participate in team meetings, supervision and business
meetings as required.
* Maintain confidentiality in relation to all tenants within the
service.
* Ensure Good Shepherd Cork policies and procedures are adhered to,
ensuring a quality holistic service.
* Ensure all activities and actions are completed in a safe and
healthy manner, as set out in the services? Safety Statement.
* Ensure petty cash usage is properly and fully accounted for.
* Take on other such duties & responsibilities as may be assigned
from time to time in safeguarding the vulnerable adult.

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND ATTRIBUTES:

* A recognised professional qualification in Social Care or an
appropriate equivalent.
* Experience working in homeless services.
* A strong ability to work on your own initiative.
* Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
* Good I.T. Skills.
* Professional, caring and empathetic approach to working with
vulnerable women.
* Commitment to the vision, mission and values of Good Shepherd
Cork.
