ShoutOut is a registered charity working to improve LGBTQ+ inclusion
through education. Since **Apply on the website**, we have delivered
2,**Apply on the website** workshops to some **Apply on the
website**,**Apply on the website** young people in secondary schools
across the island of Ireland, to combat homophobic and transphobic
bullying.

In addition to our workshops for students, we also offer capacity
building training to teachers, youth workers, and any organisations
working with young people, including charities, public bodies, or
educational institutions. This work is primarily supported by our
workplace training and inclusion programmes, aimed at building
supportive working environments for LGBTQ+ employees. ShoutOut?s
core values are education, inclusion, and allyship.

As part of a small and dedicated team, the Education Coordinator will
manage and grow ShoutOut?s school workshops across the island of
Ireland. The Education Coordinator will be responsible for
coordinating our school workshops and driving the ongoing recruitment,
training, and development of our thriving community of volunteers.

Throughout the year, the Education Coordinator will also work with the
Executive Director and with volunteers to review and refine workshop
materials, in order to deliver the highest quality of LGBTQ+ inclusive
education.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE/HAVE:

* Experience managing volunteers, voluntary teams, or similar
* Experience developing and coordinating educational/training
programmes
* A working knowledge of contemporary issues for the LGBTQ+
community
* Comfort with public speaking or delivering presentations
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
