ABOUT THE SERVICE:
Alcohol is a significant contributor to most health conditions and
places a burden on Hospital Resources and Alcohol Specialist Services
in acute hospitals which provide integrated alcohol treatment pathways
across Primary, Secondary, and Social Care.
Alcohol Specialist Services are set up to improve service user
outcomes and alleviate the impact of substance use on secondary care.
Alcohol Forum Ireland is leading the development of this service in
partnership and collaboration with a local multi agency steering group
and all key stakeholders. The service is funded by the HSE Social
Inclusion Unit.
Applications are welcome from suitably qualified nurses.
