PERMANENT FULL-TIME

SENIOR SERVICES MANAGER, CO. WICKLOW

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Services Manager to join
our senior management team.

We are seeking applicants with significant management experience in
the Intellectual Disability sector.

This is a great opportunity to join our senior management team;
develop services and lead change within SHS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Operate as a key member of the senior management team leading
change in line with the strategic plan within SHS.
* To manage, support and empower Client Service Managers to deliver
quality and regulatory compliant care.
* Ensure the effective allocation and deployment of human resources.
* Assist with the preparation and monitoring of service budgets and
the effective management of financial resources.
* Monthly Management Reporting taking in performance across each of
the areas of responsibilities
* To ensure the efficient and effective utilization of resources in
line with budget constraints.
* Ensure relevant systems and procedures are in place to deliver
high quality services.
* Define and plan overall service priorities anticipating and
responding to relevant legislation and regulations and effectively
deploy resources to this end.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants MUST HOLD a minimum QQI LEVEL 7 IN SOCIAL CARE/NURSE
QUALIFIED or foreign equivalent (validated by QQI) along with a
MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATION IN HEALTH/SOCIAL CARE.

Applicants MUST HAVE:

* A minimum of 3 years? experience of managing a team within the
Intellectual Disability sector.
* Excellent operational knowledge of frontline services.
* A passion for the sector and identify with the common values and
aims of SHS.
* Strong communication and leadership skills and the ability to gain
trust, commitment, and co-operation of others.
* Adaptability and readiness to challenge existing practices and
find alternatives.
* A knowledge of all relevant legislation, HIQA regulations and
standards.

SALARY SCALE:

Successful candidates will be paid on Grade VIII of the HSE
consolidated pay scales in line with required qualifications and
relevant experience.
