JOB TITLE: PARTNERSHIPS AND PHILANTHROPY OFFICER

MANAGER: PARTNERSHIPS AND PHILANTHROPY MANAGER

The Irish Heart Foundation is a community of people who fight to
protect the cardiovascular health of everyone in Ireland. Together we
are working to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart
disease and stroke, and to support and care for those living with
these life-changing conditions. We work to achieve this by:

* Caring for and speaking out for people in the community living with
heart conditions and stroke, and their families
* Innovating and leading in health promotion and prevention to
change health behaviours and reduce cardiovascular risk
* Building a nation of lifesavers through CPR training
* Campaigning and advocating for policies that support people to
live healthier lives.

THE ROLE

The Irish Heart Foundation?s Partnerships and Philanthropy Team has
ambitious plans to grow its income by **Apply on the website**% by
**Apply on the website**. The Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer is
a new role and will play a crucial part in achieving our goal.
We are looking for an individual who is creative, energetic,
proactive, and organised.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

* NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

* Development of new partnerships leads through networking and cold
acquisition.
* Developing marketing approaches, pitches, and proposals for new
charity partnerships or sponsorship opportunities.
* Maintaining an application calendar of charity partnerships.

* ACCOUNT AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

* High-quality account and relationship management of corporate
partners.
* Develop tailored engagement opportunities for each partner based
on their needs and interests.
* Creation of a suite of new corporate fundraising materials to
support our partners in their fundraising efforts.
* Assist the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager in the account
management of large partnerships and sponsorships.

* EMPLOYEE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS

* The development, implementation and execution of our February and
September national fundraising campaigns for the corporate audience.
* Creation of a supporter journey for each campaign to ensure a
quality donor experience and to keep donors engaged with the IHF.
* Enhancement our work on corporate giving and volunteering
platforms like Benevity.

* ADMINISTRATION

* Database Management.
* Income processing and receipting.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* **Apply on the website** years? experience in fundraising,
customer service, or account management environment.
* Excellent communication skills ? both written and telephone -
and a proven ability to deliver on KPIs.
* Excellent organisational and relationship-building skills.
* Confident networker with the ability to forge strong
relationships.
* Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
* Ability to work as part of a team in a busy organisation.
* Competency on all social media channels.
* Strong experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite.
* An understanding of donor databases.
