CATU IRELAND ? The Community and Tenants Union of Ireland is a
community based union of tenants, those in emergency & precarious
living situations and mortgage holders. We are a member-led
organisation fighting for our members, building power through
collective action, and fighting for economic and social justice and a
better life for our members and our communities.
We are now hiring REGIONAL ORGANISERS to cover the Leinster and Ulster
regions of Ireland.
The monthly hours for each role is **Apply on the website** hours and
the rate of pay is ?**Apply on the website** or ?**Apply on the
website** per hour, with a **Apply on the website** month contract.
Applicants for the Leinster Organiser role will need to be ordinarily
based in, or able to commute regularly to the area, and the same will
apply to applicants for the Ulster Organiser role.
Central to both roles is a requirement to form an overall organising
plan for the region in question, the development of CATU campaigns and
actions and strong union recruitment including door knocking, stalls,
and community building. In the Ulster Organiser role, a knowledge of
the political contexts of the North of Ireland and cross-community
work will also be necessary.
