Novas: Human Resources Manager
NOVAS is a registered company with charitable status and an Approved
Housing Body working with families and single persons who are
disadvantaged and socially excluded; primarily those who are homeless
or at risk of being homeless. We provide a comprehensive range of
housing, health and recovery services and accommodation for
marginalised households throughout Ireland including long term
tenancies in social housing. We also provide bespoke community based
supported living services for persons that find themselves homeless
and complex support requirements on both the Intellectual Disability
and Mental Health spectrums.

We are now seeking applications for the position of:

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Reporting to the Head of HR, the successful candidate will provide
expertise in partnering with the organisation?s national network of
Service Managers to support staff management and development by
advising and building confidence and competence. Additionally, the HR
Manager will support Service Managers in achieving their operational
and strategic goals by providing support across a range of HR/IR
matters. Key programmes will include staff attraction and retention,
employee engagement, ensuring that L&D supports staff development and
statutory compliance, and supporting staff through wellness
initiatives.

Suitable candidates will have a bachelor?s honours degree (NFQ, L8)
in Human Resource Management or a closely related field and membership
of CIPD as well as a minimum three years of human resources experience
with some supervisory or managerial content in their career to date.
They should have experience in most or all of the following areas:
employee relations and employment law; job analysis, recruitment and
retention; induction; training and staff development; managing change;
implementation and application of policies and procedures;
investigation management, management of HR systems and records.

Experience within the charity sector is not a prerequisite but a
strong interest in working within the charity sector is desirable.

This position can be based out of either of our offices in Limerick or
Dublin.
