REPORTING TO: See Change Programmes Leader

travel within Ireland may be required during course of work

ABOUT SEE CHANGE

See Change is a programme of Shine that is dedicated to ending mental
health stigma. Our work is informed by people with lived experiences
of mental health challenges, who are best placed to give insight into
mental health stigma.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The ideal candidate for this role will be an energetic and creative
individual who will develop, implement and co-ordinate the See Change
Volunteer Programme. We are looking for someone who has excellent
presentation and networking skills who can build strong working
relationships with our volunteers and other stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and implement volunteer programme ensuring volunteers are
informed and engaged in key campaigns and activities.
* Work collaboratively with volunteers to manage and develop
innovative projects to tackle mental health stigma within target
groups.
* Develop and maintain relationships with volunteers
* Responsible for the recruitment, training and ongoing management
and support of our volunteer group.
* Act as first point of contact and respond to all queries from
potential and existing volunteers.
* Manage, develop content and organise volunteer training workshops.
* Develop and deliver materials for volunteers
* Organise volunteer meetings to build excellent working
relationships
* Identify & develop further partnership opportunities in line with
key target groups.
* Represent See Change at various events and exhibitions and deliver
presentations to key stakeholders.
* Create content for social media and for campaigns such as Green
Ribbon.
* Provide ongoing support to the See Change team
* Provide regular reports to line manager for funders
* Any other duties as required

SKILLS & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

* Excellent presentation and organisational skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong communicator
* Excellent IT and social media skills
* Strong business acumen capable of identifying strategic
partnership opportunities
* Highly motivated self-starter capable of managing multiple
projects
* Experienced and proficient in forging and developing relationships
with volunteers and other stakeholders
* Ability to work well within a team environment but also capable of
taking the initiative and driving project to completion.
* Interest in mental health

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

* Third level qualification - Business studies or a humanities
related field.
* Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
