RECRUITMENT FOR TUTOR PANEL FOR COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMMES

Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership is now inviting applications from
suitably qualified individuals to join an Approved Tutors Panel for a
broad range of community-based programmes.
Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership brings together the community,
statutory and social partners and develops and delivers plans and
actions aimed at reducing disadvantage and supporting and empowering
individuals and communities to reach their full potential.
Central to this work, Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership provides
tailored programmes in order to help with personal development,
enterprise, community capacity building, community group supports as
well as community health & wellbeing activities.

WE INVITE APPLICATIONS TO JOIN A PANEL OF TUTORS. AREAS INCLUDE:

* Training in Committee Skills ? including governance and
structures, constitution, fundraising, committee roles, decision-
making and communication skills
* Mentoring Community/Voluntary Groups through review and evaluation
processes
* Mentoring Community/Voluntary Groups through becoming a charity
* Supporting and facilitating community groups through change
processes and management
* Training in group work and facilitation skills
* Training in women?s leadership
* Training in active community leadership and active citizenship
* Advocacy Training (group advocacy - focused on social inclusion)
* Social Media skills
* Campaigning and influencing
* Training in Healthy Eating and Nutrition
* Self-employment training & supports ? including tax information,
financial management, marketing, business planning, and networking
* Employability training & supports ? personal and professional
skills development, employability skills , I.T for employment &
education and narrative art skills

A training rate of ?**Apply on the website** per contract hour
during day hours and ?**Apply on the website** per hour for evening
or weekends, inclusive of material preparation and class planning, is
paid for delivery on Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership programmes.

All applicants are asked to send in a completed BCP Tutor Application
form, CV and cover letter outlining their suitability for the BCP
Tutor Panel.

The shortlisted applicants will be interviewed and expected to provide
references checks. Those that are successful will be put on the BCP
Approved Tutor Panel. All Tutors will be contracted on a self-employed
basis.

The successful applicants must be available from the beginning of May

mentoring and/or training work, with assigned community groups in the
area or programmes. Each piece of work will be advertised to all BCP
Approved Tutor Panel members who will indicate their interest and
availability and provide a very short explanation of how they would
deliver and approach that piece of work with a community group.
