?iseanna Taca?ochta is seeking a Health Care Assistant to provide
support to a man with a disability living in his own home. The
position involves joining a team of Health Care Assistants, guided by
a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM2) and the individual?s family. This is
an excellent opportunity to be part of supporting someone to live an
independent life in their community.
REQUIREMENTS
* Fetac Level 5 in Health Care
* Experience of working in a home care setting
* People Moving and Handling Experience
* A good knowledge of infection control measures and good hygiene
practices
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Caring and Compassionate
* Some weekend work will be required
DESIRABLE
* Experience of working with adults with tracheostomy and ventilation
* Full Clean driving Licence
* An understanding of the Philosophy of Independent Living.
