Ronanstown Community Childcare Centre are recruiting a Community
Employment Supervisor. The objective of the Community Employment
Programme is to provide a career path to participants which involves
training and employment opportunities for unemployed persons in
Clondalkin and surrounding townlands. The primary purpose of this role
is to drive the Project to ensure the annual targets laid out in the
Organisations Operational Plan are met. In addition, the Community
Employment Supervisor will carry out the relevant accounting and
administrative duties.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Co-ordinate the intake of CE applicants to the project and support
the recruitment process
* Conduct a Training Needs Analysis and agree an Individual Learner
Plan (ILP) with each participant
* To procure and co-ordinate the delivery of training programmes for
CE participants
* Support the learner in engaging in the training process
* Conduct support and supervision meetings every 6 weeks with
learners
* Explore job opportunities for learners by liaising with employers
in the area with a view to supporting progression of participants, and
reporting to the management committee
* Co-ordinate the provision of an efficient and effective financial
and accounting system in line with the Companies accounting procedures
* Payment of weekly wages to participants on schemes funded by the
Department of Social Protection
* Preparation of wages weekly, deal with revenue queries, PAYE/PRSI
payments, on line ROS/ P**Apply on the website**/P**Apply on the

* Processing and payment of supplier invoices
* Prepare financial accounts to audit stage
* Maintain a sick leave, annual leave and absenteeism record for
each participant
* Submit monthly AWS within the required timeframe
* Prepare financial returns ? including; wages claims and material
claims for the Department of Social Protection
* Perform other duties as requested

INTERESTED APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE:

Attained a Major 3rd level qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher) in
Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project
Management or related disciplines and have 3 years? supervisory
experience. In addition, they should have:

* Knowledge of SAGE Line **Apply on the website**
* Knowledge of Micropay
* Comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedure
* Demonstrated planning skills
* Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise
* Proven ability to maintain a computerised data system
* Excellent communication skills
* Drivers Licence

SALARY: Point 1 of the Department of Social Protection CE Supervisor
Salary Scale (**Apply on the website** Participant - ?**Apply on the
website**.**Apply on the website** per/week). This is an annual
contract of employment subject to on-going funding from the Department
of Social Protection.
