FUNDRAISING CRM & INSIGHTS OFFICER

Reporting to the Fundraising Operations Manager, the Fundraising CRM &
Insights officer will be responsible for day-to-day administration and
maintenance of the CRM database, will ensure that data quality is
maintained to the highest standard and will contribute to continuous
improvement working across the fundraising team.

LOCATION: Greenhills, Tallaght with remote working

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Support the fundraising team and wider organisation by providing
high quality data services and reports and insight to support
organisational activity and evidence-based decision making
* To respond to all queries relating to fundraising data, including
running queries on complex data sets to support fundraising, marketing
and finance in reporting and analysis and the creation of actionable
insight
* To ensure all imports and exports of data are carried out in the
appropriate manner and according to data briefs and timelines supplied
by stakeholders.
* Development and analysis of specific data segments and selections
to support relevant campaigns, such as Darkness into Light and
Individual Giving direct mail appeals
* To provide accurate and timely data counts and selections to
support fundraising activity, planning and analysis
* To support the Fundraising Operations Manager to ensure GDPR codes
of practice are fully implemented across the fundraising and marketing
team
* Work with Fundraising Operations Manager to develop clear GDPR and
data management processes for every function across fundraising and
marketing
* To champion best practice data management and Salesforce usage
across the fundraising team
* Develop and deliver training materials and step by step guides to
ensure a clear understanding of expectations and responsibilities in
the usage of Salesforce
* To develop and implement a change control procedure to manage
ongoing Salesforce development
* Regularly monitor data quality and implementation of processes,
problem solve and adapt as the fundraising -landscape changes
* Report on compliance to directors and work with managers to
resolve and escalate issues

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

* A third level degree in a relevant area is desirable
* Minimum 2 years? CRM management level experience or 4 years?
CRM-officer level experience with not-for-profit sector desirable
* An understanding of fundraising Codes of Practice and thorough
understanding of Data Protection (Data Protection Law, GDPR, PECR) and
previous experience of leading on the implementation of data
protection practices within a fundraising context
* Strong experience of producing reports and insight from marketing
or fundraising data sets
* Demonstrable experience of ensuring and monitoring data quality
* Experience of supporting and training end users to work with CRM
and data towards shared objectives
* Proven experience in developing training materials, manuals and
delivering training across teams with diverse backgrounds
* Strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to
simplify complex data into digestible analytical reports and insight
for end users
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance
multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
* Excellent IT skills including use of Microsoft Office Outlook,
Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong SQL, Excel and PowerBI knowledge
desirable
* Experience of using Tableau desirable
* Previous experience of using Salesforce NPSP desirable
* Can work independently as well as part of a team
