SANKALPA IS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF CE SUPERVISOR/PROJECT
WORKER, AND ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR

CE SUPERVISOR

This is a full-time permanent position. Based on 4-point scale,

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Work as part of the team within the Sankalpa Addiction Service CLG
to effectively deliver a high level of service in keeping with
Sankalpa?s Mission Statement and core aims and objectives.
* Have a solid understanding of the role of the CE Supervisor.
* Engage with and build a professional trusting relationship with
Participants, treating them with dignity and respect to work within
the values of Sankalpa.
* Devise both group and individual therapeutic activities/programmes
for Participants, via CBT and CRA, MI, SMART Recovery, Reduce the use,
and other psycho-social modalities.
* Assist Participants to progress towards their identified treatment
pathways, always encouraging a collaborative approach.
* Participate in a care and case management model, e.g., assessment,
key working processing referrals, inductions, and exit plans.
* Prepare reports, statistics, and other information, and updating
on Ecass, HRB Link, Outcome?s star, Tops.
* Maintain/develop existing links with relevant statutory, community
and voluntary agencies, creating pathways for Participants.
* Supervise volunteers / students and CE placements
* Ensure compliance with organization policies to ensure consistent
delivery of service and maintenance of quality standards.
* Participate in supervision and performance review.
* Undertake other duties as may be requested by the line manager
from time to time.

ESSENTIAL PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

* Diploma in social work, social care, psychology, addiction studies,
counselling, CRA, CBT addiction studies (essential)
* Degree in Addiction Studies is desirable but not essential.

* Knowledge and understanding of:

* addictions, behaviors, needs and related health issues.
* addiction treatment approaches and reduce the use, relapse
prevention
* mental health issues
* domestic violence issues
* complex trauma
* reasons for homelessness and needs, rights, and entitlements of
homeless persons

* Experience in assessment, key working, and care planning
* 2 years paid employment in a relevant care setting, with at least
one year experience in addiction treatment
* Experience facilitating groups / workshops (essential)
* Record keeping, report writing,

ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR

Sankalpa is a community based therapeutic day programme for people who
are in recovery from addiction issues. We wish to recruit a Full Time
Assistant CE Supervisors (**Apply on the website** hrs per week). DESP
Assistant Supervisor rates will apply.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Level 5 QQI qualification or higher on the National Framework of
Qualifications in Human Resources/Administration and/or related
disciplines

JOB DESCRIPTION

* The successful candidate will have some knowledge of how a Special
Category Ring-fenced CE Rehabilitation Programme functions.
* Some knowledge of ILP?s (Individual Learning Plan?s) is
desirable but not essential.
* Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Ability to work on their own initiative.
* Have a reasonable knowledge and understanding of the Community
Employment Assistant Supervisor in terms of the administration and day
to day running of a Community Employment Scheme.
* Assist the CE Supervisor in the sourcing and cost effective
training/development opportunities to meet the training needs
identified in participants Individual Learning Plans (ILP).
* Database inputs daily with use of platforms e.g., Welfare Partners
and ILP?s.
* Previous experience in office administration, computerised
accounts and payroll is desirable.
* Receptionist duties to include answering calls, setting up and
logging appointments in calendar.
* Skills in Excel and other MS Office applications are desirable.
* Minimum of 1-year work experience required.
* Must have good communication skills.
* To participate in annual appraisals and helping to identifying
your own job related development and training needs.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and ability to
prioritise tasks.
